Plastics industry calls for resin product innovation

Recently, DuPont and the Plastics News website jointly launched a questionnaire survey on the application of resin products in the plastics industry. The survey received 813 industry participants, of which 27% were engaged in research and development, and 24% were engaged in management and marketing. 22% of the staff are engaged in industrial design work. The survey shows that most plastic companies believe that the current resin products are not enough to meet the needs of the plastics industry, and the resin industry needs innovation.

Respondents said: In the future, the market demand for strong thermal resistance resins is the largest, followed by resin products that can increase structural functions and improve durability; environmental issues and global competition exceed expectations; oil price instability and currency wars are also affecting the market. Nearly 40% of respondents believe that material supply is more important now than in the past three years.
