Composition of rosin emulsion and manufacturing sizing material, sizing method and sizing paper

The components of this rosin emulsion include a stable aqueous dispersion of alkenyl succinic anhydride, rosin containing ≤ 50% rosin ester, and a dispersant. The components contained in this sizing compound are suitable for sizing paper with a pH value of 4-6.5. This size is useful for high-speed paper made with moderate drying conditions, such as Yankee desiccants, etc., and is storage stable. Therefore, react 450 parts of gum rosin, 90 parts of fumaric acid, and 460 parts of formaldehyde-treated tall oil rosin, then use 93% of the modified rosin obtained with 2% dodecyl succinic anhydride and 5% of 55: 30:5:10 of styrene-methacrylic acid-itaconic acid-lauryl acrylic acid copolymer was mixed to obtain this sizing material, which was stored without precipitation after stirring.
